I can tell you what it is, you can as easily Google its definition or I can show you. The psychedelic container I'm a part of has us reading a great book 'The Path of Least Resistance' as a reflection piece, I'm sharing with you an example of radical self-inquiry. May this inspire you.
context - Fritz writes, “As a way of life, not much can come out of problem solving.” Instead, he proposes a different paradigm for experiencing life: the creative process. Describe a situation with a client where you noticed they were caught in the so-called “problem structure”. How might you speak to the client to help them identify the problem structure and guide them in shifting toward a creative process? (Note: You can also apply this exercise to your personal experience).
I see myself searching for problems within my personal relationships. Judging or criticizing those closest to me as a way to delay or avoid intimacy, a deeper layer of love and vulnerable connection as a protection mechanism. I logically am willing to continue with my belief that my opinions of the way they choose to live their lives is not my concern. I’m also grateful this part of me sees the value in protecting my tender heart. This pattern can be challenged through radical self-inquiry. This awareness and present acknowledgement can bring me towards creative action. Distracting myself from authentic love is a disservice to my heart and those around me. Creative action may, can and will look like expressing this topic of conversation with those around me.
